Lighthouse vandalised

Just days after men from Nairn Sailing Club carefully gave the lighthouse a lick of white paint it appears that vandals have painted it pink.

It's thought that the vandalism occurred sometime last night and now makes the important navigational aid useless.

Police are studying CCD footage but unfortunately the cameras were pointing the wrong way at the time (towards Harbour Road)

One line of enquiry is that women dubbed 'girls' at the sailing club are fed up of being portrayed as only good enough to produce bacon rolls for the menfolk and have staged a pink protest.

The Spin says good for them and if indeed that is the case we will start a crowdfunder for any legal costs
