Sainsbury's to close Nairn store

Disbelief is the word most shoppers use as they discover that Sainsbury's is to close it's Nairn store.

The store will be closed for the whole day on Monday 25th December.

It would appear that the news is already causing panic buying with keen shoppers unsure what they'll now do on the closure day.

The store itself is doing its very best to try and keep the shelves full and has even extended its opening hours this week. 

It's expected that peak shopping time will be late on Sunday afternoon when shoppers will mainly be in panic mode. This won't be helped by numerous folk just popping in for that one item they've forgotten.

Good news is that many churches will be open for business on Monday 25th, historically they usually choose to open just of a Sunday.
