Our harbour once again attracts the hare brain with a local worthy suggesting that Nairn could get a snow machine that would attract both skiing and snow boarding on the beach.
Whilst we love this person's imagination there is but one teeny problem, our beach is reasonably flat and sports such as skiing and boarding generally require a sharp incline in order for gravity to work.
But, whatever this person's drinking we'd like some too, as it clearly boosts the thinking and we'd come up with some great stories.
We're grateful that our beautiful beaches remain mercifully empty of distractions other than the view, but we're aware some folk would like trains running along the bankie and another wanted a Blackpool style funfair.
If you're so minded it must be annoying to see the money spinner that our seafront could be sat empty and free. Long may it remain so.
Often feel like we're King Canute trying to hold back the tide. Only a matter of time before one of these idea folk get money for their proposals
