Fergus, you in?

There are times when Fergus seems to miss the true sense of public feeling or even a microphone!

You would think that community outrage at the proposed ship to ship oil transfers would of been hard to miss?

But just four years ago Fergus on behalf of HIE handed over £4M to the Cromarty Port Authority.

Could it be that HIE were all set to grant further monies to Cromarty Port Authority for their now controversial ship to ship oil transfers?

Time will tell. Meanwhile it would seem that the Scottish government is sitting on it's hands over this matter despite the strength of public opinion.
