Getting badgered

Two young badgers who live on the new proposed Lochloy Road development protested today at the A96 junction.

Many badgers have lived in their sets for years, centuries in some cases so any thought of disruption to their lives would be very sad indeed.

The proposed development has proven to be as controversial with the local community as the one at South Nairn where many folk turned out in protest including the owner of the land for this development, one Cllr Liz MacDonald.

The RSPB have now raised two concerns about the development. For full details see this report over at the Gurn: http://www.gurnnurn.com/2018/01/springfield-application-for-115-houses_6.html

Hopefully this parcel of land will remain the domain of the current wildlife.
