Scunnered

Users of Nairn's swimming pool and leisure centre are becoming scunnered with the sudden loss of available parking.

With the closure of the road at the harbour the parking spaces at the swimming pool have suddenly become a favourite for those wanting to park and sea.

Park and sea is where you park your car and sit looking at the sea. It would seem that camper vans have also caught onto this area as well.

Not quite so popular is the Maggot car park. It too has seen a huge increase in popularity although the only view it offers is of the Nairn river wildlife sanctuary. Folk are reminded that if they park here not to feed chips to the gulls, don't let your dog off the lead, don't bring breadcrumbs for the ducks. In fact just stay in your car with the windows closed at all times.
