Nairn with a Cairn

The ever popular Facebook page  Nairn with a Cairn allows people to post fascinating historic photos of their cairns.

 These can be ones they've recently built or just those that they've come across on their travels, some are from around the globe.

 Others have historic meaning and were built by family and friends

 If you have some old photos of cairns consider sharing them on the Nairn with a Cairn Facebook page and help bring back memories of Nairn cairns.

 It's hoped to have a Nairn with a cairn day at Viewfield this year when people can bring along their favourite stone/memory.

    Any plans for fireworks at the "Nairn with A Cairn" day?? If not great idea anyway, looking fwd to checking out some decent "stoneage". PS, how about putting on a barbecue as well, some erections make folk awfy hungry.

    How much will we have to pay at Viewfield? Living in the congested town centre the Gurn team doesn't have a car but just asking for a friend.
