It's understood that Highland Council is to follow the example of the council in East Ayrshire and start repairing pot holes with Coco Pops (other breakfast cereals are available)

The budget busting idea could see a huge saving for our council whilst eradicating numerous pot holes from our roads.

The severe winter has seen the pot hole problem increase by nearly 1000% and clearly with numerous budget black holes our council needs to find all the money saving solutions it can.
