Bitcoin bites Nairn

As we move towards being a cashless society several charity shops in Nairn have announced they'll start accepting Bitcoin.

Charity shops were once places that you could wander into with a few pennies and come out with  bags full of bargains.

This has all changed as the shops have sussed that they're perceived as having bargains but can in fact charge high prices for many of their goods.

It's thought the the planned closure of The Royal Bank in Nairn has also hastened their plans to embrace crypto currency, although a random scientific survey of shoppers by the Spin revealed that few folk were aware as to what Bitcoin was and none had any in their pockets.
