Harbour news - March 2018

Nairn Sailing Club are planning to crane some boats back into the beleaguered harbour today Saturday 17th March.

We very much hope that the remaining road supports the large crane hired for the job.

Meanwhile despite the hot air promising the repair of the harbour road for Easter =1st April by Nairn councillor Elizabeth MacDonald, Highland Harbours board, we've seen nothing, zero, zilch has happened as yet, not even hi-viz men in hard hats scratching things whilst looking into the hole.

The granite rocks placed in the harbour are apparently okay even though they're usually placed as armour against the elements rather than as a harbour feature. It's a mess folks and all we can hope for is the harbour and the road opening at some point soon.

Here at the Spin if we took our job seriously we might get paid, whilst others who don't do. There's something seriously wrong here?
