Parking charges have rather overshadowed the proposed planning application for over one hundred houses to be built (if passed) on Cllr Elizabeth MacDonald's land at Lochloy.
The badgers that currently reside there would just like to remind folk that they're still mounting a campaign to try and save their centuries old home and and the land surrounding it.
The Lochloy badgers are to start raising funds for a legal challenge should the plans for housing be passed, we encourage all readers to support them.
The Spin will continue to bring you up to date news on any action that might be needed.
We were saddened to hear that planning permission had been given for homes next to the Culloden Battlefield. Highland Council seem to have little respect for the views of the people they represent.

I understand Great Crested Newts have been invited to the site by the badgers
