As the Maggot car park fills up with lorries and the harbour over flows with camper vans the question is being asked as to how the drivers of such vehicles know where to park in Nairn?
Is this just messages being passed on social media or something more sinister?
Has Highland council acted with the likes Of Cambridge Analytica to seed certain Face Book feeds. Why you ask!
Well if Nairnites become scunnered enough of lorries and camper vans before parking meters are in place will they not be more welcoming of the imposition of parking charges? After all, if you go to the newly opened harbour (only closed for six months!) and find the sea view blocked with a camper vans would you not be happy to pay a few quid to park rather than see the camper van go free blocking your view?
There's money to be made from all sorts of parking and perhaps as has been suggested many times before a good camper van facility is due in Nairn.
Maybe the Parking Charges Three might have a suggestion in between their munching of free food whilst at Glenurquhart Road?
