As many Nairnites hire dog walking/sitting/daycare and holiday supervision an enterprising Nairn business is setting up a new enterprise.

Nairn Virtual Pets will allow subscribers webcam streamed access to a dog and also they will be able to have the animal delivered to their homes for access for an hour a week.

A spokesperson for the new service said: 'we've seen through our dog care service that although people love having a pet they have busy lives and really don't have time to look after a pet properly. Our new service will address that'
