The new bank, Nairn Community Bank would see a local service for Nairnites run in conjunction with various local charities.
One aim would be to buy local debts that would free the burden that many people face.
The new bank is also interested in purchasing the old Nairnshire Telegraph printing press so that just like the Bank of England it too could offer quantitive easing by simply printing money when required.
