Food for Brexit

Our political correspondent has been given a leaked cabinet document that shows that the Westminster government has contingency plans for the acute lack of food post Brexit.

It'll see each person in the UK being given a voucher for a food bank.

After an exhaustive study the cabinet discovered that food banks are the only mass storage that we have for food in the UK.

Many food banks are however already in short supply of goods and when approached one volunteer was aghast at the proposal.

Many staff in the Spin office admit that they now have a spare tin of baked beans in the cupboard.

We have heard that some enterprising folk are buying tins in bulk with the hope of selling them on eBay at profit once the shelves are empty.
