Water

It would seem that the showies are short of water, the two standpipes on the Links not providing enough for them.

This evening (11th August) the showies took water from the fire hydrant outside the ATC hut.

Normally such water is reserved for fighting fires but we assume that they'd obtained a licence to use this facility?

It's been a long dry summer and even here in the Highlands we're short of water.

Scottish Water have a large pump in the river Nairn to try and supplement their supply and nearby neighbours Moray have asked for help with regard to supplies.

Welcome to global warming.
